Hungarian Scholarship Application Process
The Rosztoczy Foundation Scholarship Program gives Hungarians living in Hungary their first opportunity to spend one year studying or conducting research in the United States.
- The applicant must have an invitation letter from a professor or scientist at an American institution, inviting the candidate to spend 12 months with him/her for study or research.
- An application form can be found at the Foundation's website and must be completed.
- The applicant must contact a member of the Hungarian Selection Committee and make an appointment to meet with that person. This committee member will make an evaluation of the applicant.
- Application documents must include the following:
- An invitation letter from hosting person
- Completed application form
- Letter of recommendation from Hungarian professor
- Letter of recommendation from Hungarian Selection Committee member
- Current curriculum vitae
- Letter of intent - explaining why you are applying for this scholarship
- List of publications, if applicable
